In the flow of their lives, people often struggle to make decisions about relationships that harm them, relationships they may not even be aware of, but which have become habitual. However, a surgeon does not have such a luxury.

When a surgeon has a patient before them who has suffered a traffic accident, lost their spleen, and whose blood pressure has dropped to zero, quick decisions need to be made about what needs to be done. If there is no one around to give blood to the patient, one must be ready to donate their own blood if necessary. Therefore, a surgeon must be in a position to sacrifice the part when necessary to preserve the whole. Success only comes with this approach.

In your life, when faced with prolonged, disturbing relationships, difficulties, and ongoing problems that have become habitual, you should not waste time wondering, "Can I solve this?". You must be able to sacrifice that part immediately and quickly in order to save the whole.
